What to Expect During Session

Minimize

The first session typically lasts two hours.  During this session, we engage in a detailed conversation about the client's presenting issues.  This interview process is vitally important for this is where we uncover unique symptoms, contributing factors and potential cures.   I take the time to establish a supportive atmosphere of trust, safety and privacy for my client.  Together we create goals, identify obstacles and develop a plan of care.

The client can look forward to experiencing hypnosis and trance during this first session.  I record the trance work and burn it onto a CD for the client to listen to in between our sessions.  One can learn how to reach deeper states of relaxation by "practicing" hypnosis.  I believe that by listening to the custom recorded CD's, the client is able to reach deeper levels of the subconscious and positive results are obtained quickly.

Subsequent sessions are 60-90 minutes in length.  We spend part of the session discussing progress towards the stated goals.  I will teach the client various tools for use at home.  I believe that we hold the keys for our own healing within our minds.  With some expert guidance, you can uncover these keys and learn how to create the change you desire.

Some trance sessions are recorded for later use, some are not.  The client will always be given specifics to work on outside of the sessions.  My desire is to give you tools so that you may learn how to better manage your health and life!

Everyone client's progress is individual.  Often people ask how many sessions it will take to cure what ails them.  My answer is we will work quickly and efficiently.  The more motivated the client is and the more he/she works outside of session, the faster he/she will experience results. This is rarely long term therapy.

My ultimate goal as a hypnotherapist is to give my clients the gift of self-empowerment.  I want people to experience change quickly and improve the quality of their lives.  I want them to learn tools to help them manage their lives now and in the future.
