As a hypnotherapist, I believe:

  • It is an honor and privilege to assist people in becoming empowered and healthy.
  • You have the inherent capability to heal yourself.
  • You deserve to choose what type of healing therapy fits your belief system.
  • We are influenced by our pasts, but may overcome any obstacles it has created along our life path.  I focus not on the past, but what symptoms are present in this moment.  We may need to heal past events, but will not dwell in the past.  I believe you can learn to live in the present moment and create the future you desire.
  • The inner peace we experience is a reflection of the quality of relationships in our lives; relationships with ourselves, those close to us and our physical surroundings. The hypnotic process increases awareness and understanding of conflicts.  As we address and learn to solve these conflicts, our relationships improve as does our satisfaction of life.
  • We are obligated to take responsibility for our own thoughts, feelings and actions. We cannot be responsible for the thoughts, feelings and actions of others.
  • By following your life's purpose, you will enjoy your life and positively influence those around you.
  •  Peaceful living begins with each individual.

Throughout time, attempts have been made to help individuals heal emotional and mental conflicts through psychological interventions.  Modern studies support the theory of a mind-body connection to wellness and healing.

I have developed my own eclectic style of therapy that borrows heavily from schools of humanistic psychotherapy, behaviorist psychotherapy and choice theory.
